Rider Profiles
Kevin Cola
Kevin is the quiet type, he recently moved to Woodward Camp to ride bikes after not being able to find work related to his degree in electrical engineering, which impressed the heck out of me! Not the trouble finding work, but rather the fact that he took the initiative to educate himself, put in his hard work, and now is willing to just sit on that while he rides bikes for a while. Its people like Kevin that will help bring long standing legitimacy to our sport, he will help people to realize that we are not all a bunch of misguided kids trying to break our necks for no good purpose, but rather that we are people. We are people who work hard at goals, as unconventional as they may be, in hopes of bettering ourselves for the future.

Ronnie Napolitan
Ronnie Napolitan is soooo good. He’s a playful kid when it comes to having fun but he displays a dependability, a level headedness that is years beyond his age when having a real conversation. He has a long list of industry leading sponsors, and though I’m sure his last name doesn’t hurt him, In my opinion he has earned every bit of credit and recognition that he has ever received on his own merit, absolutely no one else’s. Fakie Front!

Jorge Jovel
Jorge is one of the nicest and most talented people we have on our teams. He is an exceptional force on the vert ramp as well as on and off his bike. He is very modest and in my opinion, doubts himself too often. He’s had a longer road to end up where he is than most bike riders. He is originally from Honduras, he grew up in the Bronx seemingly with the BMX odds stacked against him, yet because of his great sense of humor, friendly personality, charisma and hard work on a bike he has been able to make something very respectable of himself. Great job George, we are proud of you! (PS, I still feel bad about your pokey sticks!)

Corey Yarbrough
Corey finally got a bike that isn’t a hunk of garbage! I know, its hard to believe, but we are very proud of him for it! Corey is a long time team member that resides in Milford, MI and he is one of my personal favorites! He does a ton of events with us and for good reason, he consistently throws down. On a side note, last week I was doing shows with Corey and I watched him order a large cupcake flavored milkshake and two orders of french toast sticks for breakfast, then when he ran out of syrup, he dipped the sticks in the milkshake! He is somebody we hope to have around for a long time to come, as long as he doesn’t die of a heart attack.

Dave "The Lord" Voelker
The first time I ever had the honor to ride with Dave was in Jamaica a couple years back. It was amazing! As a kid I always looked up to Dave as he, in no small part, helped to invent much of what BMX is today. Now Dave is in his early 40’s and still shows most young guns how to do this BMX thing properly. Dave recently started his own team in San Diego and I couldn’t be happier for him! If anyone deserves to make a living doing BMX bike shows it is him! Thanks for everything Dave, it’s a pleasure riding with ya!

Jay Rod
Jay does shows of his own but rides and works with us from time to time. He is a good, honest business man as well as an excellent talent on a bike. Not to mention, he recently became a father. Congrats Jay, and here’s to years of great things to come!

Joe Taberna
Joe is a large ramp aficionado that originally hails all the way from the middle of nowhere, Wyoming. He currently lives in State College, PA and rides Woodward camp as often as possible. No one is really sure whether Joe is totally crazy or an absolute genius but one thing we do know is that when he puts his mind to a bike trick, everybody better hold on to something because the fan is about to get hit with...

Ron Thomas
Hi all! I’m Ron Thomas and I own the team. I started it in 2005 after riding for others. I have been riding bikes since right around 1997. I’m 24 right now (2008). My sponsors include Levi’s Jeans, Albe’s BMX Mail-order, and my company, Rise Above Entertainment. I am a full time student at Penn State University but I still manage to travel nearly every week and ride for fun all the time too! I design and build all of our equipment and handle all the behind-the-scenes work for the teams. All of my contact info can be found on the site and I welcome you to get in touch with me if you have any questions.

On a personal level I am deeply motivated to progress myself and my projects in every direction that I possibly can. I work very hard to be the best person I can both on and off my bike and I try to make that apparent in my teams through attention to detail, fresh ideas, superior riding and overall excellence. I believe that my teams are anything but typical on a professional and athletic level and I hope that all of our customers and spectators will agree. I want to thank everyone that has ever ridden for our team! Without them none of this would be possible. I encourage you to check out their profiles as well!

-Ron

Seth Klinger
Seth is the team’s biggest teddy bear. The only thing bigger than Seth’s biceps are the tricks that he performs. Seth in one of those rare talents that can go so high and make things look so good that even veteran pros could watch him do simple tricks all day long and be entertained. Seth is new to the world of professional bike riding but everyone in the know knows he is here to stay. Seth currently lives at camp Woodward and this has done nothing but intensify his jaw dropping skills. Although he looks like a character from the movie “300,” Seth is a softy on the inside. He is a great guy that you can expect great things from in the future.

Will Thompson
Will is a very unique individual. Will’s bike skills will make even a veteran pro jealous. He has big air tricks that are second to none, consistency that rivals the top pros and tech tricks that make him worthy of a part in any video. He definitely isn’t scared to go big! He lives at Woodward Camp, so you know his abilities are going to do nothing besides grow. He is yet another member of the team that competes at the AST Dew tour. Will is a blast to ride and hang out with and we are proud to have him on the team!

Dane Wild
Dane is a long time friend and team rider. He is probably the most diverse rider on the team. He performs extremely difficult tech tricks on a consistent basis, tricks that most riders can't even begin to understand. Dane is a common figure in industry videos and media, and for good reason, the kid is amazing. The only thing he will eat is pizza and French fries!! So, as long as he doesn’t die of a heart attack, we are happy to have him around!

Jimmy Hake
Jimmy is our team’s most common rollerblader. Jimmy lives at Woodward camp. He is a riot to hang out with and even more fun to ride/skate with. He competes professionally and isn’t scared to throw down at any given moment! We are proud to have him on the team!
